"It was a good experience. The light house is situated around 1 kilometre from the nandhi bridge. The entry fee for this lighthouse is 10 rupees for adults and the board shows that it is allowed only 10 minutes on the top of the lighthouse. But don’t worry about it… this is only when there is huge crowds. I went there in weekday so that no heavy crowds were present. From the top of the lighthouse you can see the mountains and the sea together . The evening wind will blow your mind and gives you the inner peace. Only thing that could be changed is the timing. The closing time is 6pm . If it was extended a little bit more then you can enjoy the fantastic sunset"

"One of the underrated light house in Kozhikode. It's 57m tall and have more than 114 years of existence. Very beautiful sunset view point. Very near to NH66 AND IT WAS PLACED in a rural area with narrow roads. Around the light house there are huge developments going on. It was situated in a beautiful landscape. While visiting that light house we can see the constructions works are going on and also beautification of light house are done. Around the light house there are constructing parks and landscaping."
