What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
En Ooru is praised for its concept of showcasing tribal heritage and its beautiful natural setting, offering a peaceful escape. However, some visitors feel the execution is shallow, with an 'artificial' feel and a need for more authentic cultural demonstrations. It's recommended for its unique idea and scenic views, but expectations should be managed regarding deep cultural immersion.
"the nature is the real star here. But when it comes to showcasing tribal culture, the execution feels super shallow. It’s like they started something meaningful but gave up halfway. Minimal effort on storytelling, exhibits, or real interaction with the tribal heritage. Definitely not worth the hype..needs serious work to live up to its potential. Come for the weather, not the experience & bring raincoats :)"

"A Hidden Gem – Must Visit!
Visited En Oru Wayanad inside the Veterinary University campus – absolutely worth it! You can park inside if permitted, otherwise, there's ample road-side parking.
Tickets are available at the counter, and you can choose between a jeep and an Innova for the ride. The Innova is a bit costlier but very comfortable, especially for families.
The place is a beautifully designed artificial tribal village – aesthetic, clean, and peaceful. It supports local tribal communities by providing livelihood opportunities through tourism.
We had Kerala meals with fish fry for lunch – super tasty and reasonably priced. Fruit salads and fresh juices are also available at prices similar to elsewhere in Kerala.
It's well-maintained, and there's even an electric auto to assist differently-abled visitors. Best time to visit is in the afternoon – you can easily spend a whole day here. Highly recommended!"
