The approach roads to the harbour are not well maintained, making the journey uncomfortable. Although many boats arrive with fresh catch, the fish available in the market didn’t feel super fresh during my visit. The sellers tend to quote higher prices initially, so bargaining is almost necessary to get a fair deal.
Another area of concern is cleanliness—the surroundings need better management, as the market area often feels unhygienic. "One of the biggest harbor in Asia. The place gets very busy at early morning. Activities start as early as 4.30 am. If you are a tourist then it's a definitely a must visit place. You can see lots of lots of deep sea fishing boats., Variety of fishes. Note : if you are sensitive to smell of fish then I would recommend to wear a mask or avoid the place. Otherwise it's definitely worth visiting atleast once."
