"You can start here to access llama dugh top. Hit the wide, well marked trail and about 10 minutes. You will hit a cafe and a big water tank. Turn right and hike straight up the hill. You will slam into Lion King Rock and the main trail, no problem. Then stick to the well marked main trail to the top. You can also continue straight at the water tank and cafe to stay on the main trail. It's a moderate trek that becomes more challenging in the rain, if you don't have the right equipment, training and mindset."

"We started the trek around 11 AM from the base point of the Lama Dugh trek. The first section, up to the Lion King Rock, was moderate to difficult for beginners and might discourage some from continuing further. However, after that point, as you gain altitude, the trail becomes moderately easier and rewards you with stunning views of the meadows, the town below, and snow-clad peaks in the distance.
We reached another rocky point — also known as the selfie point — by 3 PM, taking several breaks along the way. At that point, we were about two-thirds through the trek but had to return due to other commitments. It took us around 90 minutes to descend back to the starting point.
Please note, there are no food or water stalls along the trail up to the selfie point before the Lamadugh meadows, so make sure to carry enough supplies. This trek is definitely doable in one day, but it’s best to start early, ideally by 8 AM.
You can also do it solo, as the trail is clearly visible. Don’t get discouraged by the initial climb — the real beauty and reward start after the Lion King Rock. Wishing you the best for your trek!"
