The Gurudwara in Gwarighat, Jabalpur, is beautifully situated along the Ma Narmada river, offering stunning views of Gwarighat. The Gurudwara itself is spectacular and well-maintained, providing a serene and clean environment for worship. The darshan experience was uplifting and peaceful.
However, I was deeply disappointed by an incident involving one of the elderly trustees. During my visit, a group of South Indian devotees had traveled from far to seek blessings. Unfortunately, the elderly trustee was extremely rude to them, insisting they should only visit if they understood Hindi. His behavior was not just unkind but blatantly racist, scolding the entire group harshly instead of calmly explaining anything.
This incident left a sour taste and tarnished the otherwise positive experience. It's disheartening to witness such discriminatory behavior in a place meant for spiritual solace and unity. I hope the management addresses this issue to ensure that all visitors, regardless of their background, feel welcome and respected"
