"It is the best place to revisit history. The fort was built by the Portuguese and Marathas took over later. The fort is under minor changes at the moment. The view from the topmost point is spectacular. The entire vasai creek is visible. There are a lot of monkeys in the premises-no need to get scared, they don't steal anything, they are minding their own business-with its kids and removing lice from each others back. The place is very calm and airy."
