What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors frequently praise the authentic Ayurvedic experience and the professionalism of therapists at Munnar's spas, particularly highlighting the relaxing effects of Shirodhara and Kizhi treatments. The serene atmosphere and dedicated women's sections are also appreciated. However, some reviews mention issues with massage pressure and treatment duration, suggesting clear communication with staff is essential.
"I got a wonderful massage from mayura ayurvedic center. Compared to those massages I have taken before this one seems to something special, something more relaxing and got a pure feel of authentic ayurveda. I chose the combination package called mahakarma therapy that includes the kizhi massage and shirodhara. Both the treatments were unexceptional and the steam bath in the end was a rose on the top of the cake. Also something I have to mention extra is the comfortness provided in the massage area. There was only ladies were allowed on the area provided me for the massage and that was a separate section in the massage center. That also help me to undergo the process with a free mind. I will surely recommend mayura to my friends and I will bring my family next time here. Also thankyou Sujitha for giving me a memorable massage experience."

"Three friends and I traveled to Munnar from the US in April 2025. We each had an Ayurvedic massage of our choice through the Mayura Ayurvedic Centre including the full body massage and steam, the sirodhara (oil dripping on head which was amazingly relaxing), and the full body massage with kizhi (a medicated bundle, that’s my simplistic description). We were extremely happy with this facility, the therapists, and professionalism. Everyone was kind and very courteous. We left fully relaxed. Thank you."

"Very relaxed after full body massage, i got pain relief by using kizhi, the atmosphere of the premises was very neat and comfortable for taking these kind of treatments. The staff was very proffessional and humble. He asked me about my problems and he done his job very well accordingly. Thank you mayura. All the best. 🙏🏽"
