"Feeling incredibly blessed to have completed my 200-hour Yoga TTC at Asthma Yoga Mysore!
This journey has been nothing short of transformative, and I’m beyond grateful to the entire team for making it so special.
The peaceful ambiance of the shala created the perfect space for deep learning and self-reflection. Waking up to the breathtaking view of Chamundi Hills from the balcony and terrace was a daily reminder of the beauty and calm this place offers.
Special thanks to my wonderful gurus who shaped this journey with their wisdom and warmth:
Jai Prakash Sir for instilling discipline and precision in Asana practice.
Dinesh Sir for introducing the healing power of Yoga Therapy.
Rushi Sir for deepening my understanding of Yoga Philosophy.
Sushma Ma’am for helping me connect within through Pranayama & Meditation.
Dr. Shashirekha Ma’am for enlightening us with the knowledge of Yoga Anatomy.
The food and accommodation were truly homely and nourishing – simple, sattvic meals that supported our practice, and a comfortable, peaceful stay that made us feel right at home.
Thank you all for your guidance, care, and positive energy. I walk away from this course not only with a certificate but with clarity, confidence, and a deeper connection to yoga. This is just the beginning… 🌿

"I did Ashtanga yoga 200 hr teacher training course here and I’m so glad i picked this place. I’ve been wanting to do yoga teacher course and even went to Rishikesh to look for courses but this school beats all of the other schools. Location wise it is nestled right under Chamundi hills and is always cool no matter how hot it gets outside. I did the course in July 2025 and it was the best time of the year for the course.
We had amazing teacher Jaiprakash Sir for asana practice and adjustments, and he has very good experience training people. He knows the students potential and capability more than the student knows himself. He knows when to push one and when not to. He is the most disciplined and knowledgeable person I’ve met so far.
For yoga therapy we had Dinesh Sir who is also a very capable teacher. He knows how to teach theory right and has vast knowledge on how to use Yoga for people from varied categories.
We had Sushma Madam for pranayama and she was nothing short of amazing. She also would brief us on advanced pranayama techniques and I used to look forward to her pranayama sessions as it would give me a sense of deep relaxation. We had Dr.Rushi for Yoga philosophy and he delivers his best to the students. It was the most interactive class we had as he answered all our questions both relevant and irrelevant. It feels like he has an answer to everything. Dr.Shashi took Yoga Anatomy and kinesiology classes for us and she has authored the yoga anatomy book. She has given us so much information and has answered all queries with utmost patience. Laxmi akka makes amazing food and it is so homely. I’ve cherished my time at AYM and I never felt like o was away from home. It became my second family. Sunil Sir is so prompt and helpful and he took us to trip to srirangapattana. All in all couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you so much to everyone here."
