Reviews Summary
Koodlu Theertha Falls is praised for its stunning 300-foot cascade and refreshing swimming pool, offering a beautiful natural escape. Visitors enjoy the easy to moderate trek, though leeches are a common concern during certain seasons. The place is considered well-maintained and peaceful, especially on weekdays.
"We went on November 2nd, and it was a very beautiful, thrilling and relaxing experience. To reach the waterfall u have to trek a little, just 1 to 1.5 km one way. Trek is easy too. There weren't any leeches during our trek. But if u go during proper rainy season, then u can expect a "leech rainfall." Still a beautiful place regardless. And before u begin the trek u have to get tickets. It is not expensive."

"Kudlu Theertha Falls offers an unforgettable experience for nature lovers. The approach from the main road is along a rough mud track — dusty in summer and challenging during rains. The trek from the entry point to the waterfall takes some effort, and leeches are common during monsoon and winter months.
However, the destination makes every step worth it. The sight of the long waterfall cascading from the rocky cliffs into a serene pool below feels heavenly. Visitors can take a dip or swim in the crystal-clear water. Monkeys are often seen near the top, so it’s wise to stay alert for any falling stones.
While earlier there were no guards, some staff are now present to ensure safety. Overall, it’s a must-visit spot for those who enjoy adventure, tranquility, and the raw beauty of the Western Ghats."
