Reviews Summary

Visitors often describe KNMA as a beautiful, peaceful escape from Delhi's chaos, offering a blend of art and history. Many praise the free entry and the quality of exhibitions, though some find certain themes intense or one-sided. The museum's proximity to malls is also a plus for convenience. Reddit+1

"Beautiful. That’s the only word I could think of. It felt like stepping into a completely different side of Delhi—away from the chaos and noise. This place gave me a sense of peace I didn’t expect. I went on my birthday, thinking I’d stay just 15–20 minutes, but I ended up spending over an hour. I only left because my phone was about to die—otherwise, I would've stayed even longer.

If you love art and history, this is a must-visit. It’s a perfect blend of both.

It’s just a 5-minute walk from the back gate of Select Citywalk Mall. The entry is free—you just have to scan a QR code and register on the KNMA website with basic details.

The staff was really kind too. I was about to leave when a guard gently pointed out that there was one more section I hadn’t seen. I’m so glad he did—because that last part truly completed the experience.

Highly recommend."

"This is a must visit for Art lovers. It's a beautifully maintained and organised Museum in the Saket office and mall area.
We went to the see the special display of a painting by the Italian master Caraavaggio. ( courtesy the Italian embassy). However there was a pleasant surprise as a retrospective of art works of an Indian master Ghulammohammed Sheikh was also on display. The huge canvas artwork 'Kaaravan' measuring about 21 feet by 6.5 was the highlight for us.
The exhibition is on till mid June 2025 and I recommend it highly. Entry is free."

Pradeep Bhatia

"Honestly, I didn’t enjoy the museum much. Most of the artworks felt too intense and gave off a very heavy or even depressing vibe. The themes seemed heavily tilted towards a particular cultural narrative — especially Islamic influences — which felt a bit one-sided and didn’t represent the diversity of Indian culture fairly.

While art is subjective, I personally felt disconnected and a bit uncomfortable with the overall curation and atmosphere. There wasn’t much variety or visual engagement for casual visitors or art enthusiasts who enjoy more balanced or uplifting content.

However, if you’re already nearby, you can definitely visit Select Citywalk Mall right next to it. It’s a good place to relax, shop, or eat. The mall is clean, vibrant, and full of options — though a bit expensive."
