What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors find the Rashtriya Dalit Prerna Sthal to be a visually striking memorial with impressive elephant statues and a grand central dome, making it a good spot for picnics and photography. However, many note the lack of essential facilities like clean restrooms and adequate drinking water, and suggest improvements in maintenance and visitor amenities to enhance the experience.
"During BSP regime, it was built and well maintained. It remains open till 9 pm so evening time is more recommended. It’s a nice place with large gardens on all four sides . One can go for picnic with family and friends. Just beside the park lies Okhla bird sanctuary so one can visit both according to their convenience. There are facilities of drinking water & seating. You can click photo's and make videos."

"It appears to exist as a designated park in Gurugram (or at least listed) — so you have a green space option.
Such parks typically serve well for morning walks, light exercise, or bringing kids out for some fresh air.
If the infrastructure is decent (walkways, benches, light), it can be a good local escape.

⚠️ What to watch / things users often report
Maintenance: Many parks in the Gurugram-area face issues like broken lights, benches, uneven paths. For example, another park was noted for lapsed lighting and non-functional fountains.
Facilities & safety: If you plan evening visits, check for adequate lighting and security. Some parks are reported to feel less safe after dark.
Cleanliness & comfort: Basic amenities like drinking water, working washrooms, clean benches—these vary across parks.
Crowds and usage: Depending on sector, timing and nearby residential density, the park may be less crowded (which is good) or under-utilised (which can feel less lively)."

Plan your visit to arrive before 5 PM to ensure you can purchase tickets. While the park is visually interesting, keep in mind that the primary focus is on historical and political figures, so engagement might vary depending on the children's age and interests. The open spaces are great for a stroll, but supervision is key, especially near any water features or busy pathways.
