"Paradise Beach in Pondicherry is a beautiful private beach maintained by PTDC, accessible only by boat (₹350 per person) through scenic backwaters. The beach is clean and well-maintained, offering water sports, rain dance, horse rides, and a restaurant. Boats run from 9 AM to 4 PM, with the last return at 6 PM. However, maintenance is poor, with no proper waiting area, limited seating for elderly visitors, and no proper life jackets. Ticket prices feel high for the facilities provided. It’s best to bring your own snacks or food for a hassle-free experience."

"The beach is government owned and it's very quite and calm. If you are looking for beach activities go via road to sand dunes paradise beach , which is privately owned ."
