What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors often praise the stunning mirror work and the immersive heritage experience of staying in or visiting a Sheesh Mahal. The architectural grandeur and historical significance are frequently highlighted as major draws. However, some reviews mention issues with maintenance, cleanliness in certain areas, and slow service at associated restaurants, alongside the high cost of luxury stays.
"It’s a part of orchha fort. We didn’t stay here but went for a quick break for evening tea. We ordered paneer pakoda, grilled sandwich, tea and cold coffee. Everything ordered was super tasty especially paneer pakoda and chutney.
Good food experience"

"We only went to restaurant and didn't stay at hotel. Location is bang centrally, near all tourist centers. Plenty of parking. Food is average but fresh lime soda was good. AC is a respite from hot summers. Washrooms were near n clean . Food was hygienic."
Rajiv
"The ambiance and the food are excellent.
Situated between two palaces this Royal abode was constructed later.
The rooms above are excellent but you have to climb 25 to 30 steps.
The beds are some how separated in one has to make a special request to join them.
Bathroom needs more cleaning and maintenance.
The haldrop also required some repair.
The rooms below are not up to the mark and power failure due to some electrical fault, which took some hours to repair
prevented us to stay in the room till evening.
The swimming pool facility is available at a distance (another resort far away)."
