"Hii gud afternoon,
This lake was built during British rule.
It was fully surrounded by green place.
Before the mettur dam supplies it was the one lake which supplies water to the whole Salem district.
People fully entertained here those times during weekends with their families and friends.
The remarkable one is it is the best cine shooting spot those days.some of the films are mudhalali, kumudham, yedhir veetu Janna etc.
Hope wish to see back again the nature with full prosperity."
