Reviews Summary
Thalaiyar Falls is lauded for its breathtaking, towering cascade, offering a spectacular viewpoint and an intensely challenging trek for the adventurous. While the viewpoint is easily accessible, the trek to the base is arduous and requires local guidance and significant preparation. Visitors are captivated by the raw natural beauty and the sense of achievement.
"This is like Mount Everest submit. Extreme hard to reach the Main falls.Main thing is you need to find the right way otherwise you will get trapped. So better you have to pick local people near the manjalar dam. Another thing you will get more dehydrate so you have to take the liquid foods instead of solid foods. Then you have to climbing, jumping and rock balancing. So you have to take all trekking equipment. Also note don't make over load . otherwise you have to drop the weight in between the trekking. If you reach the Main falls you will make life time achievement...yes falls water spread over the air. You will feeling better..Also note not going in rainy season and dry season find in between days with average water flow.."

"Been there many times... wonderful wildlife experience and water is soo chill and awesome. There is no proper path.. ensure to take local people while going.. these pics are from my 2010 blog. Adventurous places and Risky for first time trekkers and low stamina persons. Strictly don't plan to stay there post 3pm"

Without a guide, there's a risk of getting lost or encountering unexpected difficulties. The advice to carry ample water and high-energy food is paramount, as the trek can be dehydrating and exhausting.
While the reward of seeing the falls up close is immense, travelers emphasize that it's a risky endeavor for first-time trekkers or those with low stamina.
