"The fort is scenically located on top of Sahyadri with dense forest and variety of wild life. Fox, Indian Bison and if luck favours you, tiger and leopard can also be seen. In summer also it is covered with lush green. The fort is historically rich but only side walls and few structures remain. The temple is well-maintained and the village is surprising beautiful. One can get 360 degree view of Sahyadri and MOPA, Goa airport."
