The place could use slightly better maintenance, and safety near the water’s edge should be improved. Despite that, it’s still worth a visit peaceful, scenic, and a nice way to spend a few hours. With a little more care, it could easily deserve 5 stars!"

"This is a nice place. It is located in the heart of Ranchi city. You can enjoy the view of the mountain- "Fansi Tungari" from here . You can walk around with morning and evening walks. Presently construction work is going on to make it beautiful. Hope spending time here will be more nice and beautiful.Ranchi lake also known as bada talab is quiet nice the huge vivekananda statue is situated over there. The last time I visited it was closed due to COVID but it generally opens from 7am to 10am and 4pm to 7pm. But you can have a view from far away it will still mesmerizing and good.This is one of the best places to visit in Ranchi. It gives you a much-needed beautiful sunset . Here is also a statue installed of Swami Vivekananda . At night it gives a beautiful view of light reflection in the lake.सुकून की चाहत में अगर धूम रहे हों तो...इस तालाब के किनारे कुछ पल बिता सकते हैं। पर समय सुबह या शाम की होनी चाहिए।At this place you can see that the beauty and the Pollution both are directly proportional to each other. In simple words we can say that this place is very beautiful, unique and attractive in itself but when we see its other side than there are lots of Pollution here in the form of wild aquatic plants and different types of human wastes. I deducted 2 star because of its Pollution and weak fencing. There is a need to proper management and care of this place. A request from Government of Jharkhand to put some more extra efforts to make it neat and clean.
