"Simple place, with few rooms AC, Hot water, double bed, ample parking, very good Safari driver who also acts as guide... remarkable location...one of the last remaining grasslands in India. Ideal months are Oct to Feb...it's too hot and unbearably humid otherwise. Expect to see hundreds Black bucks... Few raptors.if you are lucky...a Lesser Florican sighting will be awesome if you do so. Few species of grass land birds will be sighted. Food is included in Booking price. Good cook. But this is an isolated place with absolutely no shops of any kind. Please take ALL essential items like soaps, shampoo, medicine etc. no hotels or shops within 10km. Go without expectations.."

"Been to the safari in this grassland on the 8th December and also on 21st December 2024. Seen large number of blacbucks and many bird species. If you are interested in birdwatching, you many contact Mr Gafoor, the safari jeep driver cum guide at the facility. The scrubland in the Jalakanur area nearby, also provide good birdwatching opportunities."
