"Perhaps, the most serene and picturesque monastery in Sikkim...you will feel peace of mind as soon as you enter the place, the monk quarters, the prayer Hall, the mural and beautiful overview of the valley and City of Gangtok from its rooftop surrounded by pine trees and mountains..
Just loved the place"
Amritasan Mukherjee
"This is the largest monastery in Sikkim. A quiet and momentous place. Must visit. Cars are not allowed all the way up to the monastery unless senior citizens are traveling. You might have to walk uphill for 5-10 minutes. However, the place is worth the effort. Go ahead and soak in the experience for yourself."
Dishant Bhatt
"A good place to visit , an hour drive from Gangtok city with a scenic route. Place is mostly crowded as its a popular tourist spot. There are multiple security check points, ID cards and bags would be checked. Its about 15-20 mins uphill walk from the car park. Good hotels and souvenir gift shops are available nearby. The Monastery also has cafe and gift shops."
