"The Urmodi project was kick-started in 1996 for providing water to Maan and Khatav talukas. The dam was constructed on Urmodi river at Parali village in Satara district. its take more than 10 years to be completed this project. since 2009 water is being stored . this place is very peaceful and less crowded. sunrise and sunset views are very magnificent over here . complete view of this dam came from nearest sajjangad fort top .
