From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the lush green forests and the tranquil ambiance. The air is so fresh, and the only sounds you hear are the gentle rustle of leaves, the chirping of countless birds, and the soft lapping of water against the shores. It truly feels like a world away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
Our group spent our time boating on the emerald-green waters, which was incredibly peaceful and scenic. The boat operators were friendly and shared interesting snippets about the history and ecology of the lakes. For the more adventurous in our group, there were opportunities for short, manageable hikes around the trails surrounding the lakes, offering breathtaking panoramic views that were perfect for our group photos.
What made the experience even more special was the sheer cleanliness and preservation of the area. It’s clear that efforts are being made to maintain its natural beauty, and we greatly appreciated that. We also visited the nearby Methodist Ashram, which added a touch of historical and spiritual significance to our trip.
