Visitors find Tipu Sultan's Death Obelisk a meaningful and well-maintained historical stop, offering a poignant glimpse into a significant battle. "This is the place where Tipu Sultan’s body was found. His body was not buried here; this is the spot where he died. His burial place is located nearby place called gumbaz-e-shahi. There is no parking space available, so you need to park your vehicle on the roadside. There isn’t much to see here, so you can skip this place if you’re short on time."

"Please where Tipu dead body was found.

Adjacent to it one can also see the Water gate
from which British entered Srirangapatna Fort.
Ruins of Tipu Royal Palace (aka Lal Mahal) also lies nearby
which was completely destroyed by British."
