"Jai maa Shali 🙏
Shali Tibba is a prominent peak in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, standing at an elevation of around 9,423 feet (2,872 meters). It's known for its scenic beauty and is a popular trekking destination, offering stunning views of the surrounding valleys and mountains. Located near the town of Shimla, in the village khatnol, it attracts adventurers and nature lovers alike.
An ancient temple of Shali mata is believed to be 400-500 years old to which one reaches after a walking Trek of 5-6 km one sided.
Passing through the dense forests is truly an adventurous trekking.
One can also stay at the top in the temple premises as the local villagers have kept blankets and utensils for staying and cooking.
But food needs to be cooked and groceries need to be carried on your own.
The views from the top are jaw dropping as one gets a complete 360 degree view of the Shimla region and many more.
This place receives a good amount of snowfall during winters and also one needs to be careful with the wildlife animals as well.
The place holds many religious beliefs and has huge faith in people as well.
Perched on the hill top the temple can be seen from all the places like Shimla , kufri , theog, etc.
Note : Please keep Himachal Pradesh and our mother earth plastic free clean and green. Plant trees and only throw your trash and garbage in the dustbins only.
Thank you !"
