"Feb 2025- visiting Thane & temple after 2 decades & the feeling of being right at home doesn't change 🙏💓😍
It still gives me the same peace & serenity when I visited as a child. I love the fact that there's place to sit n just be at peace. Temple is open throughout the day though main worship might get close during afternoon hours.
I love the Kopineshwar Shiv Temple. Great feeling."

"Located in the heart of Thane, Kopineshwar temple is dedicated to lord Shiva. The temple premisises consist of many other temples dedicated to hindu gods and goddesses. The temple may get crowded during festivals like mahashivratri and shravan somvar.
The temple has a long history and is revered by people of thane as gramdaivat.
However old stone structures (from peshwa era) have been replaced by new cement construction which does not fit into the ancient vibe of the temple."
