However, the lack of overnight accommodation and limited facilities are noted drawbacks.
"Thinnakara has one of the best landscape with white-sand beaches, corals and with view of water as far as your eyesight reaches with human interference. the island is also considered a paradise for those who love diving and water sports."

"Takes about 20-30mins to reach here by boat from Bangaram. Recommend starting your trip by 1530 or 1600 so that you get enough time to walk around and also just catch the sunset while returning (can't stay till sunset, low tides may cause a problem when returning back).
There used to be tents here which could be booked by tourists, but not anymore. Such a pity, an island as beautiful and plentiful as this is not as recognised as the others."

"The island of Tinnakara is a must visit. You can have a good swim 🏊♂️ admist the clear waters. There is a lighthouse and if you are lucky you will find the Hermit crab 🦀 as well.
You can interact with local fisherman who occasionally come on the island 🏝 for fishing. This island unhabitated.
There were early tent houses for tourists which are no longer there since got washed away by tsumami. So there are not options to stay on this island but a 1-2 hour visit can definitely be planned."
