Reviews Summary
Ahilya Ghat is recognized for its spiritual significance as a site for important Hindu rituals and its location at the confluence of the Godavari and Ahilya rivers. Visitors appreciate the historical architecture, though many are disappointed by the poor maintenance and cleanliness, describing it as dirty and ill-maintained.
"It is confluence of Godavari and a rivulet called Ahilya. At this place a 2 storey building is made where the rituals of Narayan Nag Bali are done by authorised purohits of Triyambakeshwar. There are few steel stands where symbolic funeral of Narayan and nag Bali are done. Overall a ill maintained and dirty place for such a significant ritual. It is pity that in India mist such important tirth sthal are poorly maintained evoking disinterest in mind of devotees rather than joyful devotion."
vishal sharma
"Not maintained. Very dirty...all trash is thrown away in this. Locals should keep strict rules and keep a large mesh to prevent trash throwers."
