Reviews Summary

Visitors describe Tumburu Theertham as a highly risky but rewarding place, best visited during its annual opening. The challenging 12-15 km forest trek requires mental preparation and sturdy footwear, with limited facilities and no network coverage. Despite the difficulties, many find it a lifetime, blissful, and extraordinary experience.

"Very risky place to visit.

This place will be opened on Chitra shudda Purnima day of every year.

And age above 50yrs and below 20yrs are not allowed to visit the place.

Very very very bad path to reach thertham.

Should be mentally prepared to walk for nearly 12 to 14 kms inside forest.

Better to visit this place with 2 or more people for safety.
With chappals or sandals can't withstand the total journey
I suggest to Start the journey with shoes.
Have only one bag and 2 or more water bottles, some white towels to protect from sun.

Water and other facilities will be available up to first 2 to 2.5kms.
After that no drinking water.
Save drinking water as you have to cover a total distance of nearly 7 to 8km out of 12 to 15kms with out any facility.

There won't be any network as you go deep into the forest.
No network for airtel, jio, BSNL.
I don't know about other networks."
