"As a beach person, I loved Papanasam Beach because a beach is a beach anyway, and I’m always happy near the sea.
When I went around 12 PM, it wasn’t too crowded, and it felt quite peaceful. The water was clean, and the waves were interesting—sometimes calm, sometimes a bit chaotic, which made it fun to watch. There were lifeguards everywhere, which felt reassuring and made the beach feel safe.
There are good restaurants close by if you’re hungry after your beach time. And on the way to Varkala Cliff, there are plenty of shops along the streets, you can buy some very good stuffs if you're pro at bargaining.
Evening is definitely the best time to visit, though. People are a vibe then everyone chilling, enjoying the sunset, and it just feels lively yet relaxed.
Overall, it’s a lovely spot if you’re in Varkala."

"It was one amazing and clean beach but if you want to take a bath go after monsoon season. I visited in the monsoon season and the sea was a little harsh yet beautiful."
