"An excellent place to be in, whether you are a catholic or not. You can get blessings of the cross and enjoy the scenic views too. This being on a height, you get an awesome view of the sea, the beach and the Betul jetty. It's mesmerizing, you can stand for hours looking at this beautiful scenery. The Baradi Cross is known as miraculous Cross fulfilling wishes and answering prayers of the devotees and those who come here with hope and faith. The place is not crowded at all, at least whenever I visited and I generally visited on Sunday around 11 a.m. It being not crowded, parking is not a problem at all."

Well maintained, neat and clean surroundings.

"Baradi is a scenic neighborhood located within the village of Velim, Goa, approx. 18 km from Madgaon city.
It is famous for The Holy Cross Chapel located besides the Miraculous cross, a revered spot for tourists, irrespective of their faiths who come here offering flower garlands and lighting candles. It is also a spiritual place, perfect for meditation, but many claim their prayers have been answered by visiting the Holy Cross.
This Holy Cross Chapel is a 16th century beacon of faith and serenity that draws pilgrims from around the world due to its historic significance of The Cuncolim Massacre which was an incident that involved the massacre and mutilation of Jesuit priests and civilians by Hindu chieftains in the village on 15 July 1583.
From atop this hill, you can obtain a panoramic bird’s eye view where the Sal river meets the Arabian sea. You can also get a glimpse of the Betul fishing jetty down below.
If you’re in Goa during monsoon time, it can be quite an adventure trekking through the rain-drenched wilderness of the village.
There are no admission fees and you get ample parking space for vehicles.
