What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the picturesque beauty of Vihigaon Ashoka Waterfall, especially during the monsoon when the water flow is impressive. The scenic drive and the 'Ashoka' movie connection add to its charm. However, some find the lack of maintenance and cleanliness disappointing, and the unofficial entry fee can be a point of contention.
"Ashoka Waterfall is truly a beautiful and refreshing place to visit, especially for nature lovers. The lush greenery and the scenic views make it perfect for a peaceful getaway. However, during the rainy season, if the water level rises, the authorities don’t allow visitors to go down near the falls for safety reasons. So it’s better to plan your visit during safer weather or be prepared for restricted access. Overall, it’s a stunning spot worth experiencing!"

"Went here in the mid June, but Monsoon was just beginning, so there was not much water, so it was a bit disappointing.
There is an entry charge (by a local person) standing there and no ticket is provided for that.
There are around 100 steps to reach the waterfall. Steps are well made, but may be slippery due to rains.
Waterfall is not kept clean by tourists, and even with so low footfall, I could see chips packets and bottles scattered.
Do try local Indian Olives from local vendor, it does taste a bit like olive"

"Less crowded zone, nice place to visit, should have full energy to climb the stairs."
