"The museum is a must visit when in Coonoor. They have neatly displayed the foundation and gallantry history of The Madras Regiment of The Indian Army. There are pictures and exhibits of weapons, achievements of the regiment. They also show a 10 mins video about the regiment.
There is an entry ticket of 50 per adult and 20 for child. Photography inside is prohibited.

"MUSEUM opening timings are: 0900 TO 1300 HRS and 1500 TO 1700 HRS. It remains CLOSED on TUESDAY.
The entry fee for public is ₹50 for adults.
Photography is allowed outside but forbidden inside the museum.
They first show an introductory video about their Regiment, it is about 15 minutes. After that we can move about looking at various exhibits. No photos. GF and FF visits will take about 15-20 minutes.
Come outside and see the flower etc. There is one Souvenir Shop.
At another outlet we can purchase Tea, Coffee, cold milk/lassi etc.
