What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Zero Point is a breathtaking destination offering unparalleled Himalayan views and a magical snow experience, often described as heaven on earth. While the journey is thrilling and the scenery is out of this world, visitors must be prepared for extreme cold and thin air, with acclimatization and oxygen cylinders being crucial.
"A must visit place on your Sikkim trip. I recommend planning your Lachung stay for 2 nights. This place is awesome with towering peaks, beautiful view and great vibes. You probably cannot spend more than 30min here considering extreme weather and changing winds. But whatever time you spend will be worth it. Even the approach road from Lachung to zero point is very beautiful and scenic. You might have to wait for some time due to limited space and cars crowding it. Once you step out, make sure you acclimatise yourself with O2 level and then head directly to snow. Spend as much time as you can in the snow and then get back up in time for a hot coffee besides fire which is burning at nearby food joint. Believe me, this will really help you recover from extreme cold weather quickly. When we visited, we were also fortunate to experience small snowfall. So keep your fingers crossed and boots tightened when you visit this."
