"When the nature meets the culture and local wisdom, Alas Purwo has balance it all.
The nature that holds breathtakinng scenery at every spot. And the endemic fauna like bull (Bos javanicus), the best them to see them gathering is at afternoon (15.00-17.30)
The sunset from the eastmost point of Java island is so captivating and feels so majestic. And if you lucky, you can spot baby sea turtles at the beach.
And there’s so many temples inside Alas Purwo that still used by the prayer to do the sacred ritual. Luckily, i’ve meet a group from Bali with beautiful yellow kebaya to have a ritual in the Giri Selokah temple.
With all story about myths and urban legend that happened back then, many people come here to seeking the spiritual enlightenment that somehow make the vibes suddenly feel so eerie. Many people suggest that better to leave Alas Purwo before 18.00 to avoid mystical thing.
But overall, the beautiful scenery itself that linger the most in my mind. Hopefully i have another time to visit Alas Purwo again.
