What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Aling-Aling Waterfall as a thrilling natural playground offering incredible value. The combination of cliff jumping, natural slides, and stunning cascades makes for an unforgettable adventure, enhanced by helpful local guides. While the trails are steep and the water is cold, most agree the experience is well worth the effort.
"Stunning scenery, and great value to see four falls and jumping/sliding if you want for the price with guide. We got there early and had the place entirely to ourselves for the first couple hours. If your guide offers the extra 20 min or so trek to the rice terraces/village on the other side of the canyon, do it, it’s really beautiful and interesting to see a different way of life, and no long line to take a photo. The blue lagoon with the rope swing is also worth the extra walk. Be aware the steps/trails are STEEP and the water is COLD. If you’re like me and not someone who hikes regularly, you will be very sore for a couple days, but it’s worth it!"

"Firstly, the gardens upon entry are fantastic. So lovely to walk amongst, lustrous to the sound of running water. They'd be nice to picnic in. Unfortunately, when we exited the waterfall, we didn't go back there.
The falls themselves were pretty good. We went mid-morning, so the crowds were light. There are platforms that you can jump from, into the pools below the falls. That was a bit of fun! The taller of the two is 9 metres.
We had a guide, who also enjoyed jumping in."

"A must-see experience!
We absolutely loved our visit to Aling-Aling Waterfall. It’s a place you really shouldn't miss! It’s not too crowded, so you can enjoy the nature and the activities without stress. It’s great for families and you can choose what kind of adventure you want.
We did the tour with four waterfalls – you walk around 15 minutes and the whole experience lasts about 2 hours. We had so much fun sliding down natural rock slides and jumping from 5, 10, and even 15 meters into crystal-clear pools. The natural pools are stunning and refreshing.
The guide was incredibly kind and helpful the whole time. They even carried our phones to keep them safe and took amazing photos of us.
Totally worth it – one of the highlights of our trip. Don’t miss it!"
