What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Allianz Ecopark Ancol for its peaceful atmosphere and abundant greenery, making it a refreshing escape within Jakarta. It's a great spot for walks, cycling, and family outings, with the Eco Nature area being a particular highlight. However, some guests noted concerns about the small enclosures for certain animals and the need for better rule enforcement regarding park facilities.
"Visited on a Friday afternoon and the place was almost deserted, but it was still one of the best things we did in Jakarta! Peaceful and green, with a family of monkeys on the little island that you can watch playing. At the moment there's a tiny baby too!
There are also deer and toucans in tiny, sad enclosures, which I didn't like.
Once you've paid to get into Ancol (35k per person) the Ecopark is free."

"Visited Allianz Eco Park on a sunny Sunday morning and had a refreshing experience! The park is spacious, clean, and well-maintained—perfect for morning walks, cycling, or just relaxing under the trees. I loved the peaceful vibe, away from Jakarta's usual hustle.
We tried paddle boating and explored the Eco Nature area—great for kids and adults alike. There were also food stalls and clean restrooms around the area. A perfect spot for families or couples looking to enjoy green space in the city. Highly recommended for a weekend escape!"

"It’s a great spot to enjoy some greenery in Jakarta. During my visit on Sunday afternoons, lots of people came to stroll, jog, or bike around. It was wheelchair friendly, too.
To enter it, you will need to have a ticket for the main gate of Ancol, but no need to pay for the eco park.
The only downside was that even though it’s an eco park, many of the cacti were scratched up. They really should enforce the rules better."
