"It was a really cool fort to see. We also enjoyed the drive to the fort. The downsides were that there were tourist facilities that were completely abandoned. It would've been better if they were taken away completely. There was also a huge rubbish pile at the end of the circular route that was off putting. All in all, a nice spot to see if you have time but I wouldn't make it a priority."

In this place you will not only see the Japan Fort but also you could stroll the area, sit in the grass (area front of the fort) and just watch the waves and blue ocean. It's just peaceful and relaxing. I could spend my time here just to relax by watching the blue ocean."

"The island is in a sorry state, with litter strewn all around. The steps leading to the Japanese Bunker are extremely irregular, although the view from the top compensates for the arduous ascent. Beach access has become difficult as the steps have been eroded, requiring a scramble to reach the shore. A simple solution would be regular maintenance and a commitment to cleanliness."
