What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Taman Beji Griya Waterfall is praised for its beautiful natural setting and the profound spiritual experience of the Melukat ritual. Visitors often describe it as a unique, once-in-a-lifetime cultural immersion. However, some find the mandatory fee and the lack of post-ritual shower facilities to be drawbacks, and guide quality can vary.
"I came all the way from Colombia to spend my time here today. I was really looking forward to visiting this place and doing a purification ritual. We arrived this afternoon, paid our entrance fees, and were very happy about this experience.
But we had a guide who made our experience very bad. From the beginning, he started with an eagerness we didn’t understand, and his explanation was very poor. He made us feel like we had to finish quickly; we had the feeling he didn’t want to be there.
At each offering, he would simply explain something and then rush us to the next offering, leaving no time to experience it or even take a picture.
We were in such a hurry to finish our experience quickly that after 25 minutes we decided not to continue.
We went to the main lobby to discuss the matter, as we wanted to have the experience and to request a refund, but they weren’t very kind to our feelings either.
I had dreamed of this moment all my life and the experience with this guide left me with a terrible memory on my last day in Bali
The place is beautifull but is sad too comercial and my guide really bad"

"Don't worry about the price; it's an incredible experience; you'll never experience it again. With a guide, you'll experience a kind of soul-cleansing experience. The guides are very helpful and take incredible photos. They deserve a tip. You witness how people worship the gods they believe in."

"It's a sureal experience once in my life time to held a Melukat Ritual here at Beji Griya Park Waterfall. The ritual not only teach us how to value a human as part of nature, but human as the leader of themself also.
The misk make everything looks like from the other dimension, and the solemn felling came rushing from the sound of water and silentness.
We recommending to use a private course, and come to waterfall as early as possible to make sure not to line up too long and getting a true significancy of the Melukat."
