"Actually a great experience if you take the full track. We were lucky to have a very empty trail so no people around that allows to explore in own pace! For the price of the ticket you get the guide (and the photographer), the lunch, bag for cloths, a towel (and shower to use after) and water, also the swing (in the last canyon) is amazing experience! Loved it"

"Amazing place, must visit if you like walks in the nature. A bit of healthy challenge for adults and kids above 7y/o (for younger kids may be difficult). It took us approximately 1,5-2h. Food in the cafe, included in the ticket, was above expectations😜"

The Thrill of the Trek
The trek typically spans three distinct canyons, each with its unique formations and challenges. The water levels can vary, and during the rainy season, currents can be stronger, requiring extra caution and swimming ability. However, for those seeking a bit of healthy challenge and a unique way to connect with nature, this trek is highly recommended. The feeling of exploring a secluded, natural environment is a significant draw for visitors.
Many visitors highlight the exhilarating nature of the trek and the feeling of discovery. The combination of physical activity and stunning natural beauty makes it a memorable experience. It's a chance to step away from the typical tourist path and immerse yourself in a raw, untamed landscape.
Safety and Guidance
Guides also enhance the experience by sharing insights about the canyon's geology and local lore. Many guides are also skilled photographers, often taking excellent pictures of visitors amidst the stunning scenery, which is a fantastic bonus for many. This dual role of guide and photographer adds significant value to the visit.
It's crucial to heed the guides' advice, especially regarding swimming and navigating difficult sections. While the experience is generally safe, being aware of the environment and following instructions is key to a successful and enjoyable adventure.
Photography Opportunities
Visitors often find that their guides are excellent photographers themselves, readily offering to take memorable shots of individuals and groups. This is particularly helpful as navigating the terrain with camera equipment can be challenging. Smartphones are commonly used, but for those with professional gear, ensuring it's well-protected from water is essential.
The best times for photography are generally early morning when the light is softer and the crowds are minimal, allowing for unobstructed shots. The unique textures of the rock, the reflections in the water, and the overall sense of seclusion make for truly captivating images that showcase the raw beauty of Bali's natural landscapes.
