What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Coral Garden for its easy shore access, abundant marine life, and suitability for all diving levels. However, some note that the coral health has declined compared to previous years, and some find it less impressive than the nearby USAT Liberty shipwreck. Despite this, it remains a worthwhile spot for snorkeling and diving, especially for its macro creatures and unique underwater statues.
"Snorkeled for five days in Tulamben in 2013. Lots of colorful coral and variety of sea life (shark, ray, bumphead, moray, mantis, etc.). Every day new exciting sights. Returned for one day in 2023. Little coral. Little color. Few fish. Nothing exciting. So disappointed. Will not return to snorkel in Tulamben."

"Definitely worth snorkelling if your in the area. The water was nice and calm and it was easy to access from the shore.
We weren’t wowed by the spot, but I think this is because we snorkelled the USAT Liberty shipwreck (on the same beach) just before. The shipwreck blew us away, it is a must do! We saw so much life and a huge turtle.
Do the shipwreck then have a snorkel here too.
I don’t think the coral is as good as other places in the area: Selang Beach and Jemeluk Beach."

"Awesome divespot even for divers that are not totally into macro stuff!"
