What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Curug Setawing is praised for its stunning natural beauty and tranquil atmosphere, offering a refreshing escape. Visitors appreciate the raw, unspoiled scenery and the peaceful experience away from crowds. However, the challenging and potentially slippery paths require careful navigation, and the lack of amenities means visitors must come prepared with their own food and drinks.
"Grojogan Sewu Waterfalls is a very beautiful place to go to. Its still a natural place with beautifull waterfalls and sceneries. From the parking area you have to take a steep road down to the falls, by foot. The track may be wet or muddy, the stairs may be slippery. But the falls are stunning. Bring some food and drinks yourself, since there are no warungs close to the falls, but a toilet is available. Not many people go there, it is very quiet. Entrance Rp. 3.000 p.p., parking motor Rp. 2.000. Some 35 km from Yogyakarta in the beautiful Kulon Progo Recency."

"Awful road, tiny path (only fit for one car), sharps turn, sharp slopes, even worse when the rain is fall. That pain was pay off. You get beautiful scenery, fresh air, nice picture and off course a cool photo spot. I'm lucky enough to enjoy dangdut spirit here :D
I love the local empowerment to maintain this beautiful site keep clean and reached by more people."
