Reviews Summary
Raja Ampat liveaboard trips are overwhelmingly praised for their incredible diving, abundant marine life, and stunning underwater scenery. The dedicated and friendly crews are consistently highlighted as a major factor in the exceptional experience, providing personalized attention and delicious food. While weather can occasionally be a factor, the underwater world remains a consistent marvel.
"Amazing trip!
My brother and I did a 6 day trip with Big Blue Indonesia and it was hands down one of the best diving experiences I’ve ever had, if not the best. Ralph runs the boat like a pro—super organized but still chill. The crew were incredibly friendly and helpful the whole time. Dive sites were stunning (manta, sharks, macro, big schools of fish, healthy reefs—everything!), the boat was spotless, and the food was super yum. Tasty meals and snacks all day. Can’t recommend this experience enough, and hope to be back for a longer trip next time."

"Truly a wonderful liveaboard experience! I did the 6 night around Raja Ampat and it was incredible. The diving there is amazing but what makes this liveaboard special is the crew. Everyone is so nice and helpful. My guide (Otis) has an impecable eye for macro as well as constantly finding pelagic life. He really made the dives something special. The food is delicious and - my compliments to the chef. The schedule is well-planned, including a selection of favorite dive sites. We even made a trip to Piaynemo - beautiful. All in all I highly recommend this liveaboard to anyone considering it."

"It was an incredible trip. I was there at the end of the season, so the weather was not perfect from time to time: rain, wind and waves. But under water everything is perfect: clean water, no strong current (only once) and a lot of fish. There were only 3 guests on the boat, and I was worried that our trip would be cancelled, but the trip was confirmed and we were lucky with the accommodation: each had his own cabin and a lot of space.
The boat is big enough, especially for 3 people. Lots of space to relax, have lunch, sunbathe, etc.
The food is varied and delicious, a very good chance to try Indonesian cuisine.
I was surprised that there is nitrox on the boat, it is rare. Even on land it is not so easy to find nitrox in Indonesia.
The crew is very professional, everything is ready on time, the schedule is adjusted to the weather, the guide (Noldi) knows all the dive sites very well and each time tried to find something interesting for us underwater.
Raja Ampat is a wonderful place, I hope to come back here again soon. Thanks to Ralf, Noldi and the whole team for the hospitality and great work."
