Reviews Summary

Kota Cina Archaeological Site offers a unique historical perspective on 11th-century Tamil settlements, distinct from its name's implication. However, visitors often find the site remote, with challenging terrain and basic facilities, leading to mixed experiences. The unpredictable museum hours can also be a point of frustration.

"Though it has a 'China' name, but it doesn't really showing that this place belongs to Chinese heritage, but Indian (Tamils). This went way through the 11th Century when the Tamils came to Medan and build this small city (Cinna Kottai) which means 'small city'. It's a worth learned place and history."

Octavianus Nathanael

"The place is too unfriendly & harsh to be visited, besides its too far & extremely secluded from the city. The operational time is absurd & unreasonable. The facilities are also bad in fact. I was so disappointed when I reached this place once after struggled hard to conquer the harsh swampy terrain, but found nothing worthy & the museum was closed as if it's not operate anymore."

Hardy Li

"Rich of historical information, but it's most likely said abandoned. The CS is friendly, though"
