"This fishing port is situated about 32 km east from Banda Aceh CBD. It usually takes about half an hour to get there. Fishermen from local Krueng Raya region anchor their boat here and land their daily catch. They sell their catch at this port. A lot of people prefer to buy fish here because it is still fresh, haven't been under refrigeration process. Either cooked as curry, fried or grilled, the fresh fish brings you a very delicious taste. The best time to come here is in early morning. If you come from Banda Aceh, take left turn after Krueng Raya Bridge and follow this narrow road, it will bring you to Pasar Krueng Raya. The fishing port is on the left from pasar."
