What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Melanting Waterfall is lauded as a breathtaking and serene natural wonder, often described as a 'hidden gem' with fewer crowds than other Bali attractions. Visitors rave about its beauty and the rewarding trek, though the steep steps can be challenging for some. The affordable entry fee and refreshing swimming opportunities add to its appeal.
"346 steps down from Warung Lembah Melanting, this is the most tiring to reach, among the four Munduk Waterfalls. If you have knee issues but still can do steps, this waterfall is still doable. Just take it slow and easy at your own pace. For bad knees, you might want to reconsider though. Upon reaching the fall, all your pain will be forgotten."
John Tay
"There are two entries to the waterfalls; one from the top to climb down 380+ uneven hight steps (bound to be slippery if raining). Then, you must climb up those steps to return to your vehicule. That was very tiring for a 76 yo. The second entrance is down, near the falls - no steps - have known :-)). Overall, the trip is worth the entrance fee; rp 20k."
Serge
"A beautiful waterfall that is an absolute must-see – uncrowded and one of the few that has so far been spared from tourist infrastructure that would otherwise disrupt the natural beauty of the surroundings."
