Reviews Summary
Munggu Rice Terraces offers breathtaking natural beauty and a peaceful escape, often praised for its serene atmosphere and stunning green landscapes. However, some visitors have encountered issues with accommodation maintenance, inconsistent service, and challenging access roads, which can detract from the overall experience.
"The place is beautiful and quiet, but honestly, there’s no proper maintenance. The shower head is broken, there’s no fridge, no TV, and no electric kettle. The curtains aren’t blackout, and if you stay in the room downstairs, you’ll hear every single noise from the room above. The balcony of lower room is the door to enter the room, The towels are old and not clean"

"10/10 value , location near Omni Bali, quiet-ish, green rice fields view, non-polluted, lovely shared pool. Would recommend upper rooms as have nicer wooden interior & higher ceilings. Great team 🫶🌏☯️💗"

"An unfortunate bad stay -.- No doubt, the rooms were beautiful, a rustic wooden villa design overlooking the padi fields and a quaint little pool with a Koi pond.
HOWEVER, the lady managing the reception was awful. She was rude and gave attitude about small matters like our request on whether breakfast could be earlier since we have an airport journey. A simple polite no would suffice. Also, when we checked in, she didn't bother to tell us where the room was. It was dark and the rooms don't have clear numbers so we turned back to ask her, which was met with a sassy response from her.
Plus, the location is a bit odd. You need to turn into a very narrow alley which is normal in Bali, but this is full of deep pot holes. Our driver got stuck and scratched his car on our way in. So IF you're okay dealing with a sassy staff and still decide to stay despite this (and other bad reviews), just walk to the main road for Grab."
