The distance is about 20 km from downtown Gorontalo. Olele Beach, which has white sand, is very close to residential areas. But this close distance does not pollute the surrounding waters.
Olele Marine Park is very popular among local and foreign divers because it has the rare and only Salvador Dali Coral in the world which can only be found in Gorontalo.
There are many dive spots with different characteristics from one another. These spots are Jinn Cave, Traffic Circle, Honeycomb, and Muck Dive, but the favorite for divers is Jinn Cave. You need to know, in this marine park there are endemic sponge corals that cannot be found in any waters. Its existence is sought after by foreign divers. Its uniqueness lies in the coral motif which resembles a painting by one artist from Spain named Salvador Dali. The painting is called L'enigma del Desiderio. Therefore this sponge coral (Petrosia Lignosa) is known as Salvador Dali."
