What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Pamutusan Island is praised for its magnificent views, especially from the hilltop, and its beautiful white sandy beaches with clear blue waters. While some visitors note the presence of trash and basic facilities, the stunning scenery and opportunities for swimming and relaxation make it a recommended destination. The island offers a chance to camp or stay in simple cabanas, though visitors should be prepared for limited amenities and cell service.
"Really magnificent view and u will get more good view if u climb a small hill. Too lazy to climb to very top but took decent photo."
Shawn Lee
"Great island with beautiful white sandy beach and crystal clear blue water. Unfortunately few trash were found here and there. You can stay over at the island camping out or renting a cabana. Dont expect a lot from the cabana its not even decent but at least theres a roof over your head. The toilets are probably not for the faint-hearted but at least theres clean water running from the tap. The island also provide you with public kitchen so that you can prepare your meal if you wish to cook there. There was no food vendor on the island so bring something with you if you decide to spend some time here. BUT PLEASE BRING BACK YOUR TRASH WITH YOU, THIS ISLAND CANNOT BEAR MORE TRASH.
Other than that, the view was stunning, its a beautiful island with many beautiful spots. You can hike the hill to reach the top and get a more beautiful view of surrounding islands.
The beach was great to swim around, you can jump from the dock and swim with the fishes. Snorkling is probably not the best thing this island have to offer, the corals are dying and its so sad to see them. You cant see any colorful reefs and everything is just concerning down there.
Cell phone reception was rather difficult, you cant even make a call in some parts of the island."
