Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the stunning beauty and refreshing experience of Sendang Gile and Tiu Kelep waterfalls, calling them a 'must-see' in Lombok. The 'longkang slide' is a unique thrill, and the natural surroundings are breathtaking. Some advise against unnecessary tour guide pressure and recommend bringing water shoes for the best experience.
"I visited Sendang Gile Waterfall recently and took the slightly longer but much easier route that starts and finishes at Cafe Rinjani Dawn. Highly recommend it if you prefer a more gradual path instead of the steep stairs from the main entrance. Look for the sign on the main road that says Cafe Rinjani Dawn and "Senaru Waterfall Trail" and head down the small lane until you pass the restaurant. The ticket office for the waterfalls is next to an irrigation stream, which you follow to Sendang Gile Waterfall.
I chose to go with a guide from Lost on Lombok, and it was absolutely worth it. Super friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to share stories about the area. On the way back, along the path toward Cafe Rinjani Dawn, we even spotted a group of black monkeys, which was a real highlight.
If you're heading to the waterfalls, I recommend this route, as it's very scenic, with some excellent viewpoints. Cafe Rinjani Dawn is also a hidden gem, with great coffee and delicious gluten free chicken wrap!"

"The path to this waterfall is very easy and beautiful. It involves about a 10-minute walk down some stairs. At the bottom, you can buy drinks, corn on the cob, etc. Unfortunately, swimming is not allowed at this waterfall. From here, you can reach another, even more beautiful waterfall in 20 minutes."

"Amazing waterfalls! Cost 20k each to enter and took about a 15 min walk down/up jungle steps to reach, but they were gorgeous and very worth it!
There is also toilets and people selling food/beverages but I didn’t use or buy any so can’t comment on those."
