Reviews Summary

Subak Sembung Ecotourism is lauded as a beautiful, serene escape with a well-maintained 3km rice field walking trail, perfect for morning jogs and sunset strolls. Visitors appreciate the authentic Balinese atmosphere, fresh local produce, and affordability, though some note occasional trash and brown rice fields depending on the season.

"🌾 Beautiful Rice Field Walking Trail in Bali 🌾

This 3 km pedestrian path is one of my favorite places in Bali. In the mornings I come here for jogging 🏃‍♂️ — the fresh air, quiet atmosphere and endless green rice fields give the perfect start to the day. In the evenings I enjoy slow walks at sunset 🌅, when the light turns golden and the whole landscape feels magical.

What I love most is the authentic Bali atmosphere: no traffic noise, no crowds, just peace, nature and the sound of the wind in the rice. It’s hard to believe that such a relaxing spot is only 20 minutes away from Sanur!

The trail is well kept, easy to walk, and safe for families, kids or solo travelers. Along the way you’ll meet friendly locals working in the fields, and sometimes small cafés where you can enjoy coconut water or fresh juice.

✨ Highly recommended if you want to:
• go for a morning run or yoga walk,
• take photos of Bali’s natural beauty,
• relax your mind away from the busy tourist spots,
• feel the real Bali spirit.

For me, it’s the perfect balance of health, peace and inspiration. Definitely one of Bali’s hidden gems 💚"

"Nice walk in the middle of the rice fields. At the end of the day, less people. Preferably go during the right season because for the moment the rice fields are brown… A lot of trash on the floor... Scooter parking 2000 rupees."

"Love this place so much. You will have a long walk, up and down. So fun. If you walk further, this place is connected to another eco tourism called Uma Palak. Parking car 5k"
