What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Surabaya North Quay is praised for its stunning sunset views and the unique maritime atmosphere, offering a chance to see ships and enjoy the sea breeze. However, visitors note limitations in food variety and service speed, and transportation can be a challenge.
"The place is nice. A good view into the dock and anchorage area. You can see a lot of ships. And if you're lucky, you'd find a cruise ship docking on the side of the building. The minus is, toilets are too far from the North Quay area. You need to go one stair down. But other than that, pretty good."

"Not Worth the Trip
Visited North Quay Surabaya expecting a nice waterfront experience, but left quite underwhelmed. First of all, food options were very limited—just a few small stalls with basic snacks, nothing really appetizing or decent for a proper meal. It’s surprising for a public attraction of this size to not have more food variety.
Getting there was another challenge. There’s basically no reliable public transport, and unless you're using GrabCar, you're pretty much stuck. Bluebird are rare, and there’s no shuttle or easy access from other parts of Surabaya.
Once you're there, there’s not much to actually you cab do or Unless you happen to catch a cruise ship docking, the view is quite plain.
Overall, Wouldn’t recommend unless you’re already nearby and just want a short stop—but even then, don’t expect much."

"The venue is quite cozy especially if you buy a ticket for the limited area. Tickets are quite cheap as they include food vouchers. You can see the ship and suramadu bridge directly from the harbor's edge. Sometimes if you are lucky you can see the sunset clearly. There are quite a lot of food tenants in the lobby. The taste is not too interesting, according to the price offered."

Navigating Your Visit: Practicalities and Tips
When it comes to dining, reviews suggest managing expectations. While there are food stalls and a food court, the variety is limited, and service can be slow.
